Traffic cones for multiple uses (road safety, traffic management, demarcation, prohibition of crossing). The cones are made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) or PE (polyethylene) material, to be resistant to weather and solar radiation.
Plastic cones are placed in the parking lot to indicate an area or point that needs attention from drivers or pedestrians. They are also particularly useful for demarcating and prohibiting the passage of vehicles, as well as for preventing parking in selected places.
Marking cones are divided into 2 basic categories depending on their construction material (PVC or PE).
PVC is a thermoplastic polymer material which with the use of appropriate plasticizers becomes soft and flexible, because of which the cone is very resistant to vehicle impacts and returns to its original shape after each impact. PVC marking cones are used in places where there is frequent passage and are at risk of being hit by passing vehicles.
PE is a thermoplastic polymer material which has excellent chemical resistance so that it is not affected by exhaust gases, oils, fuels, tar and other materials found on the road surface. Safety pins made of PE are not as flexible and are characterized as more sensitive to vehicle hits, for this reason they are mainly used for demarcation and creation of no-passage or parking zones.
The marking cones are available in various sizes (height 30cm, 50cm, 75cm, 100cm) and are also available with a reinforced heavy base for greater resistance to strong winds.
Plastic traffic cones are orange in color to be visible from a long distance and carry one or more reflective tapes to be visible in low light and adverse weather conditions.
