Pedestrian crossing protection systems contribute to the early warning of drivers and the maximum possible safety of pedestrians. Their goal is to immediately and effectively identify the crossing, especially in places of increased pedestrian traffic, such as schools, urban areas and high-risk road networks.
The systems are installed before pedestrian crossings or in areas of school facilities with frequent passage of children and pedestrians and are available in different configurations, depending on the needs of each project.
Available options include traffic signs with flashing warning lights while using pedestrian detection sensors for activation only when required, energy savings is achieved.
Smart Crossing with Pedestrian Sensor & Flashing Lights
The "smart" crossing system is activated when the pedestrian enters the detection zone to cross the crossing. Flashing lights begin to flash on both sides of the road via wireless radio link, so that the crossing becomes visible from a great distance.
The system includes double (basic 200) or alternatively quadruple (basic 102) flashing LED lights which are certified according to the EN12352 Class LH8 and EN12352 Class L2H standard respectively.
The system is powered by a 20W photovoltaic panel, with brackets suitable for mounting on a mast with a diameter of Ø60 or Ø90mm.
School Facilities Protection System
The warning system for drivers approaching a school complex consists of a K-16 traffic sign (announcement of danger due to frequent movement of children) on a reflective white panel bearing four (4) LED flashing lights with synchronized or variable flashing mode (synchro/flashing mode).
It has a programmable timer so that it works only during school opening hours.
Certified according to the EN 12352 Class L2H standard.
It can also be installed in areas of sports facilities, amusement parks, shopping centers, etc. using the appropriate warning or hazard announcement traffic signs.
